What can I expect on board?

Our vessels are open and spacious, with ample room for guests. Each boat features a large cockpit with a canvas Bimini top, ensuring comfort and safety under all conditions. All boats meet U.S. Coast Guard requirements and are equipped for both fun and safe sailing experiences. Guest capacity varies by vessel — please ask at booking for details on the specific boat for your charter.

What are the rental requirements?

For cancellations made more than 5 days before your start time, you may reschedule your tour. There are no refunds if cancelled within the 5 day range. Weather conditions can vary and we can operate in most weather conditions. We follow the Captain’s decision for sailing conditions and offer a full refund or rescheduling if the tour is cancelled due to weather.

Where and when will we meet?

We meet at either Palm Cove Marina or Goodby's Creek Boat Ramp. The exact slip or destination will be specified upon booking.

What do I need to bring on the boat?

  • Dress comfortably in casual attire
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat
  • Close-toed, non-marking shoes
  • A packed meal, snacks, and drinks
  • Swimwear and a towel (if swimming is planned)

Can we bring our kids?

Yes, children are welcome. Please ensure they have an appropriately sized lifejacket, or bring one specifically for them.

What is the duration of the tour?

Tours typically range from 2 to 12 hours depending on the package selected. The return time can vary, so plan accordingly.

Is the route for each tour the same?

Routes may vary based on weather, wind, tides, and currents, but we strive to stick to the planned itinerary as much as possible.

Can I be involved in boat navigation?

Guests may assist with steering and working the sails as part of the adventure. The Captain will make the final decision based on conditions.

What if I get seasick?

Consider taking motion sickness medication beforehand if you are prone to seasickness.

Is it safe and do I need to wear a life jacket?

Safety is our top priority. All guests will be briefed on safety procedures before departure. Lifejacket requirements will be determined by the weather and captain’s discretion. These answers are part of our boat charter FAQs designed to help you feel confident before your trip.

What professional photography options are available?

We offer several photography packages, ranging from dock shoots to full charter sessions. Customizable options include drone shots, 4K videos, and professional edits for social media sharing.

Packages Include:

  • Dock Shoot: $99 for 30 minutes
  • 2 Hour Charter Session: $250
  • Full Charter Photography: $499
Customizable packages can also include planning consultations, external shots from secondary vessels, custom prints, and a private online gallery.

Is swimming allowed during the charter?

Yes, swimming is allowed on all of our vessels, with one exception. Swimming is not permitted on the 44-foot Sea Ray due to its restricted maneuvering capabilities. For all other boats in our fleet, guests are welcome to swim during the charter, weather and conditions permitting.

Are restrooms available on board?

Restrooms are available on select vessels in our fleet. Specifically, the 33-foot Motor Yacht and the 44-foot Sea Ray are equipped with onboard restrooms. If having a restroom available is important for your trip, please let us know at booking and we can recommend the best vessel for your needs.

Where is the 44-foot Sea Ray located?

The 44-foot Sea Ray is docked in slip A27 at Palm Cove Marina, located at 14603 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32250.

Can I request a custom pickup or drop-off location?

Custom pickup and drop-off locations are permissible upon request. However, an additional transport fee may be charged depending on the location and travel requirements.
