Chapter One

2017 · The Beginning

It started as Miss Connie's Missadventures.

Jacksonville Boat Charters was started in 2017 — originally branded after the first vessel in the fleet, a catamaran named Miss Connie. Captain Jason and First Mate Kenny set out to grow Northeast Florida’s retail maritime market into a real destination.

What began as weekend trips on a single boat quickly attracted vacationers and family groups looking for something more personal than a tour. Word travelled the way it does on the river: slowly at first, then all at once.

Origin Story

"Named after Miss Connie — the first vessel in the fleet — and the missadventures that came with her."

Chapter Two

2022 · Hurricane Nicole

The storm took her — but the namesake lives on.

In November 2022, Miss Connie was heavily damaged during Hurricane Nicole. She was repaired. Then, after weighing growing passenger demand against what a single small catamaran could safely carry, the call was made to retire her from charter service.
The boat sails on in name. The brand still carries her — a quiet credit to where every trip we run today actually started.
